the 30th the German Restaurant named Deutscher Hof Kabul
gets opened. Gunter Voelker (General Manager) from Tabarz/
Thueringen living now in Fuerstenwalde/Spree
and Boris Wohjan (Chef) started Deutscher Hof Kabul.
DHK is also a educational centre for cooks, waiters
and housekeepers in cooperation with AGEF
. At the beginning 14 trainees were learning at DHK.
In the first seven months DHK grows up to a big compound
with Restaurant, Lounge, Biergarten, parking lodge and
guesthouse. Since September 2003 the Kitchen is supervised
by Rico Bochow from Frankfurt
/ Oder. Rico is a excellent chef and also responsible
for the cook training. His engagement and ideas in menus
brings a good international image for DHK.
Since the opening, DHK had trained already 64 young
Afghans successfully and led them into job.
DHK is providing UN security standards and is organizing
everything what is necessary for your safety.
